Ardex WPM 106

Ardex WPM 106

ARDEX WPM 106 is a two component, highly flexible. cementitious waterproofing coating. It is designed to withstand high water pressure in many different applications. Formulated with non-toxic materials, ARDEX WPM 106 ideal for potable water usage. The pre-packed, two component system is based on special synthetic resin dispersion and a blend of selected cements. ARDEX WPM 106 exhibits excellent crack accommodation qualities even after long-term water immersion.

Usage: 2.0kg / m2 / 2 layers
Shelf life: 12 months
Construction steps:
Surface preparation:
Make sure the construction surface is solid, clean and dry, grind the floor to remove the dust layer on the floor to increase adhesion, corner baseboards with mortar at the junction between the wall and concrete floor.

Product Mixing: Pour part A (water) into a clean container and mix well with either slow speed or manual mixer. Then pour part B (bauxite) slowly into part A, mix until a homogeneous mixture without clumping.

Construction Ardex WPM 106:

ARDEX WPM 106 should be applied with a brush or roller to ensure continuity and no breakage of the coating. Two coats should be applied.

First, apply one coat of ARDEX WPM 106 to dry for about 2 hours, then apply the second coat with indoor wet areas at a rate of 0.8 -1kg / m2 / layer, the thickness of the two layers is minimum 1.5. mm for floors and slopes and for fully immersed applications such as swimming pools and water tanks.
