ARDEX WPM 780 is a single component, liquid applied moisture cured, coal tar free polyurethane waterproofing membrane for vertical and horizontal surfaces. ARDEX WPM 780 can be brush applied directly from the pail or is sprayable to form extremely elastic and tough waterproof membrane.

Pack: 22kg (20 liters) / barrel
Expiry date: 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry area at a temperature of 5oC- 23oC, protected from sunlight. Unscrew the lid of the container tightly after using it.
Usage norms: 1.0 - 1.2 kg / m2 / 2 layers
DRYING TIME:
Allow the first coat to be touch dry before applying the second coat. Subject to humidity and temperature, drying time may vary.
Membrane dry through time is approx. 24 hours (after two coats), after which it should be protected with ARDEX protection boards, protection screed or Geotextile Fabric coated drainage cell.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The surface to be coated should be clean, sound and free from dust, loose particles, grease, honeycombs, protrusions, voids or any other contaminents.
Concrete surfaces should be free from laitance, if present, should be removed by scabbling, grit blasting or by any other mechanical means to produce a sound surface.
LINING:
The WPM 780 is self-priming on most surfaces. For porous surfaces should be primed with ARDEX WPM 265. If the concrete is wet (above 75% RH), treat the lining with ARDEX WPM 300.
CONSTRUCTION:
WPM 780 should be applied with a roller brush to ensure continuity and failure of the coating. Candles apply two layers.
Apply a layer of WPM 780, ensure dry touch, continue to apply second coat.
Apply a waterproof layer with a thickness of 0.6-0.8mm / layer, reach a double layer thickness of 1-1.2mm, at 24oC, 55% humidity
Waterproofing layer WPM 780 must be protected from mechanical impacts during construction or other works.
CLEARNING OF TOOLS:
Equipment and tools should be cleaned immediately after use
Safety information
